Latest generation Corsa has got interesting all of a sudden. Vauxhall seem to have found out that customers like cars that are enjoyable to drive. Vauxhall have also tried to give the two bodystyles different target audiences - 3 door = sporty and young ; 5 door = sensible and (small) family. Underneath it's a Fiat Punto Grande - not a lot of people know that !
The best deal - Vauxhall need to shift lots of these and both customers and dealers are used to some heavy discounting, so shop around and haggle.
It handles well and rides very well. Both quality and space are up on the previous model. The cheapest models offer the best value-for-money. Diesels are likely to be very economical in the real world.
Recent mods have been made to reduce emissions and improve ride comfort but there are no exterior chahges to help you see which are which, only slight badging changes.
Not a lot really but those images that Corsa equals either 'lowered and loud' or 'rental car' might take a while to shift.
