General description

Fiat desperately needed a competitive car in the family hatchback sector as the Stilo bombed everywhere, so they rolled their sleeves up and got the Bravo out in record time.

They've based a lot of it, including the styling, on the very successful, smaller Punto Grande.

Things to look for when buying one

Heavy- to very heavy- depreciation, as most Fiats, except the really good ones.

The good bits

Well it's better than the Stilo - so much better !

Fiat are now offering a 5 year warranty on new Bravos, which is longer than many other cars you can buy.

The not so good bits

Looks a bit like a bloated Punto Grande.

You can buy a Punto Grande for much less or a Focus for about the same.
