General description

Another interesting Skoda and although it looks like a 4x4, the ones at the cheaper end of the range are only front wheel drive.

Available with the usual VW Group petrol and diesel engines. Fortunately the cheapest - the 1.2TSi - is probably the best and is also in Insurance Group 2.

Things to look for when buying one

Skoda haven't announced an option price for ESC (Electronic Stability Contol) yet - you'll need to tick the box as it's not standard unless you buy the top Elegance derivative.

The good bits

It's spacey, confortable and surprisingly fun to drive.

Due to the square style and large windows it's very easy to place on the road and park.

The not so good bits

Not a lot really providing you like the looks.
